#1 When going to watch the Orioles at Camden Yards, you should always buy the second deck seats that are under cover.
#2 Mary Wiley, who rode Mass Destruction to victory in the Lady Legends race on Black-Eyed Susan Day, is a breast cancer survivor.
#3 Andrea Seefeldt, who finished third in the same race, is now an Olympic-class clay pigeon shooter.
#4 Julian Pimentel is a very talented rider.
#5 Garrett Gomez is much better on closers. He fights too much with front runners.
#6 It is almost impossible to beat a California sprinter, especially one trained by Bob Baffert and ridden by Martin Garcia.
#7 Al Stall, Jr. might be the best “stakes†trainer since Charlie Whittingham.
#8 Animal Kingdom is just a better horse than Dialed In.
#9 The chewed-up, decimated by rain, Pimlico turf course probably cost us Paddy O’Prado.
#10 Frank Stronach has replaced Marjorie L. Everett as Thoroughbred racing’s best host.
