1st Race) SARAROYAL drops to the lowest level of her career after a brief freshening. She is particularly adept at the mile and an eighth distance and has finished in the money over half the time on Polytrack.
4th Race) Sharp trainer Andrew “The Bull” McKeever enters SKY VICTOR here after a long rest and a string of solid works. I like the fact that Hall of Fame rider Edgar Prado takes the mount. If the Sky Mesa gelding is a shadow of his former self, he should be posing for pictures.
5th Race) GRANITE HARBOR has been facing stakes winners Hansen and Shared Property in maiden races. It is safe to assume that there are no colts of that ilk in this race. He is sneakily bred for turf and could be very tough if he handles the distance.
9th Race) ARUNA is a talented filly who will race on synthetic for the first time. Her trainer Graham Motion scratched her from a soft turf race at Belmont Park last week and opts for the mile and an eighth of the Juddmonte Spinster (G1) to prep her for the Breeders’ Cup. She seems to have a class edge in this field.
