Funny Cide Funny

July 3, 2007 – Funny Cide runs at Finger Lakes tomorrow and although he has not lived up to the potential he showed in his Kentucky Derby (G1) season, he is still a fan favorite. Seeing his name always reminds me of what ESPN’s Kenny Mayne said before the running of the 2003 Belmont Stakes (G1): “Other than being castrated, things have gone quite well for Funny Cide.”
