Three Horses to Consider Betting on Sunday

KEENELAND – THIRD RACE

Horses who have been racing competitively at Presque Isle Downs have been running like trained pigs at Keeneland. TIDY UP, who was haltered out of a $10,000 key race at PID by sharp claiming trainer Tom Amoss looks tough to beat in this seven furlong $16,000 claimer. The conditioner has won with 26% of his most recent 274 claims and he has won 27% of the races jockey James Graham has ridden for him.

KEENELAND – SIXTH RACE

SWEETNESS AND LIGHT ran a bang-up second in her debut at Arlington Park, earning a better-than-par Brisnet speed figure. The daughter of Distorted Humor hails from the Michael Stidham stable, who wins 22% of the time with horses making their second start. Jockey Rafael Bejarano is red-hot right now and takes the reins on the Pin Oak Stable filly this afternoon.

OAK TREE at SANTA ANITA – FOURTH RACE

Amerman Racing Stable’s CLUED IN has always been highly regarded. The son of Airdrie stallion Include showed promise early on but was not quite ready for prime time. Sent to the shelf to mature a little by future Hall of Fame trainer David Hofmans, the three-year-old has been working in fine fashion for his return to the racing wars. Jockey Mike Baze, who is also returning from vacay courtesy of the Santa Anita board of stewards, fits him like a glove and the six and a half furlongs down the hill is just perfect for his charge’s comeback effort.
