Live @ Keeneland – Wednesday, October 19

Rain is forcast for the next couple of days, so turf racing will be a little sketchy. There is an 80% chance of rain today. It has been my experience that horses who run well in the mud also excell on wet Polytrack.

1st Race) GRAND ILLUMINATION drops into the maiden claiming ranks after two decent races at Presque Isle Downs. Her trainer, Graham Motion, is having a terrific fall meeting, already winning four races.

2nd Race) Trainer Mike Maker wins with a whopping 36% of his new claims. He saddles ARGENTINE TALISMAN for the powerful Ramsey stable after haltering him for $50,000 last time out at Saratoga. Look for a solid effort under top jockey Julien Leparoux.

4th Race) Two races into her comeback off a two-month hiatus, SNUGGS AND KISSES finds an easy starter allowance race here to resume her winning ways. She is reunited with jockey Julien Leparoux, who won two races on her in the spring at Churchill Downs.
