We’ll try to stay on our winning roll all the way through Saturday. It has been a memorable Keeneland meet in many regards but the weather has been picture perfect every day, the winners have come in bunches and the racing has been extremely competitive. Here’s our list for today:
2nd) GRANNY’S GREEN EYES comes off a rest, drops a tad in class and adds lasix. The daughter of Pollard’s Vision showed ability last spring and finds a field that, on paper, seems to lack any talent. Her 5-1 morning line looks like a very square price.
4th) Given way too much to do in his last start over the Hawthorne lawn, WAY YONDER finds a much better scenario here. He has run well on Poly, should love the mile and an eighth and makes his first start for a claiming price.
5th) KEEP UP has been working like his tail is on fire for his debut. By Unbridled’s Song from Bobby Frankel’s Kentucky Oaks (G1) winner Keeper Hill, the Tony Mitchell trainee attracts leading rider Julien Leparoux.
10th) COURTESY CALL drops out of two maiden allowance races at Arlington Park after displaying some talent in both. This is the same M.O. that leading trainer Wayne Catalano has been employing the entire meeting, so another win with stable rider Mike Baze would not be a shocker.
